Transmissions are what we do. Most of our work is automatic transmission rebuilds on GM and Ford trucks, vans and cars, and we know those units inside and out. We also work on most other makes and models, depending on the vehicle and the repair.

We diagnose first
We don't assume the transmission is the problem. We look at the whole vehicle and everything related to the transmission, find what is actually wrong, and then recommend the repair. Sometimes that's a rebuild. Sometimes it isn't.
Removal and replacement, plus mechanical work
Transmissions come first, but we also do R&R work and general mechanical repair when it makes sense for your vehicle.

How it works
From first call to keys back
You contact 76Auto.
We talk through what the vehicle is doing.
You bring it in and we diagnose it.
We figure out what it actually needs.
We go over repair and build options with you.
We do the transmission or mechanical work.
We reassemble and test it, as applicable.
You get your vehicle back with the applicable warranty.
Diagnostic fee: $140. It's waived if you're a first-time customer and go ahead with the recommended repair through 76Auto. Towing is separate. We don't diagnose remotely, so bring the vehicle in and we'll inspect it properly.
Warranty
We offer warranties on qualifying transmission rebuilds and repairs. A common warranty is 12 months / 12,000 miles. Terms can vary by repair, build, and situation, and we'll go over the exact coverage with you before work starts.
Financing
Snap Finance is available for qualifying customers, for amounts up to approximately $5,000, subject to approval. We also take cash, credit and debit cards, Zelle, Cash App, and Apple Pay.

We're a working shop. We have 10+ years in automotive and about 5 years running our own business, and most of that time has been spent under trucks and vans, pulling transmissions and building them back.
We specialize because it lets us do the job better. We'd rather be the shop you call for a transmission than one that says it does everything.
